our neighbors are doing a "baby dedication" for their son, it is at a church then they are having a little get together after. do i get a gift for them? ive never been to something like this...im not even sure what exactly they do

Yes I usually just give a gift card. It's a small short ceremony where the baby is dedicated to god.
