My PGP has gotten so bad. I've been on bed rest except when I go to physical therapy. So today my mom came over and told me "walking will help, you're just being lazy". Like thanks ma. I didn't know you had your PhD.
@slemon21 Awww I wish there were other things I could tell u try but it's not much that helps. Only other thing I've tried was getting hubby to massage my hips and back. Also try an indoor pool it'll lift all the extra weight up it's feels sooo good I go maybe once a week to the aquatic center to relieve pain
@tripletroublemom, seriously. I can't even put socks on without my hubby. I'm so over this pain and I still have 10 weeks left! I wish a bath would help me :( I've tried it but it never seems to help. The hot shower on power blast aimed at my hips seem to help a little, but it hurts to stand that long. I can't win 😔
This is so painful like my hubby has to help me up n walk me to the bathroom n back help me in n out of the bathtub which is the only thing that relieves the pain for a Lil bit. It usually hits me the worse at night. If he's at work I basically have to walk along the wall to get to the bathroom. I'm not allowed to take baths unless I'm supervised because of fall risks but thank the Lord I'm not on bedrest.
I tell people that say I'm being lazy to let me pull there pelvis hips and back apart put three 2lb babies in there so they can see how it feels then ask them if it's just laziness.
@tripletroublemom, I think mine is barely there. I can't imagine having this and carrying triplets. You are seriously a superhero!
Yeah. It's the same thing as SPD. It's so painful and I hate when people tell me I'm just being lazy. I'm sorry you also have it 😔😔 I wouldn't wish this on anyone.
The piece of tissue or cartilage that's supposed to keep mine apart is completely gone it hurts like shit to move but when I'm walking in fine as long as I keep moving but after walking is like I'm crippled and can't move
Oh it's the same as spd I have severe spd and it cripples me ppl tell me I'm just being lazy to n they don't understand the pain. I can't roll over its hell getting up. It's just hell
@tripletroublemom, pelvic girdle pain. Basically when your body produces too much relaxin (a hormone that separates your pelvic muscles to prepare for birth) and so my pelvis is separated too much and makes it too painful to walk among other daily activities.
@tripletroublemom, yes! My hubby squeezes my hips and it is such a relief! Definitely would recommend :) I'll try the pool-- maybe my tub just isn't big enough to keep me buoyant
