Okay ladies I need some advice asap!
Our baby recently turned 3 months old and she has been rejecting the pacifier ever since. The thing is a pacifier is how we got her to sleep during daytime naps and now whenever we put her in the crib she just starts crying. Swaddling doesn't work that well either, she just keeps crying unless she's held. Idk where that is coming from cause for daytime naps we never held her, just swaddled her, put her in a crib and gave her a pacifier, she fussed a bit and then fell asleep. Same goes for night time. There I used to feed her to sleep and now trying to change up the routine with it except same thing happens - she just cries and cries. Idk what is going on, why all of a sudden she is so horrible at falling asleep. Any advice would be appreciated.
@pinkfulskies, I haven't noticed sweating with her yet. At night she's ok, only wakes up for feeds twice per night. We only swaddle her at day time, night we don't bother since she just falls asleep on me during feeds. Today she actually accepted one other soothe I had, that maybe it. We'll see. Thanks for responding! :)
maybe its too hot for her. is she sweating at all?
could be too bright.
how is she at night?
my son didn't like swaddling after a month.
babies are so interesting.
as for the soother. try a new type.
they have all kinds. you might have to buy a couple.
@melahbee, that's what I'm thinking as well but I thought sleep regression was starting at around 4 months... And I'm so used to growth spurts being times when she just feeds every hour or so haha but she's still feeding every 2.5-3 hours odd time she wants extra after 1.5 hours. It's just sleep now that she's messing with. Hope it passes soon, it's been kind of hellish.
yay! see. might just been the soother. :)
