Change babys diaper! Or shirt if drooling. My aunt in law said when baby is wet they get hiccups. She was right for my son. Eveytime he got hiccups he had a pee diaper. I changed it and they went away. Gripe water is more for colic and teething.
I second mommys bliss gripe water! It actually says for hiccups on the box and it worked well for my daughter. I only ever gave enough for them to go away and they did quickly. Its not for teething, its for gastrointestinal ailments.

Gripe water works wonders for my daughter. She gets them really bad to the point where she cries. It usually kicks in within a minute or less

Gripe water don't work on my son. so I let him ride it out. 😂😂😂 I feel bad sometimes but he doesn't cry so.... 🙈🙈🙈🙈
