Am I selfish for not  wanting the father/his family to see my son? They dont help out financially. The only thing they've bought in 3 months is 2 packages of diapers, batteries, and some stuff I dont use( car seat cover and Halloween outfit).

@t1mom, child support is in the process, he got the summons today and he's pissed, he thinks I'm going to party with it (which I've never done). I'm really responsible with money, I funded my entire maternity leave on my savings account.

Well, I would say the father absolutely needs to help!! But, his family doesn't, as it is not their baby or responsibility. Have you thought about seeking out child support? And I hate that! My son won't sleep with my mom, and always comes back to me being a little turd lol and he's only 4.5m!

@t1mom, neither. They always want to help by watching him while Im at work, but they screw up his schedule and he doesn't sleep
