Ppd can last a little bit of time or need medication..no ppd isn't just to your baby it's depression after birth..would be about anything some people want to be the only ones to touch their baby and don't talk to anyone else some distance themselves from baby some sleep a lot some sleep to little it affects everyone differently. If you have it you need to speak to your doctor because it can get bad fast

Within a year it's still considered ppd and no it's just depression that follows after pregnancy it doesn't have to be towards your baby
