Hi everyone. I've been cramping quite a bit this last week or 2 and was just wondering if it's normal. I've read up on it online and everywhere I've read says light/mild cramping is normal but what if it's more than that? It's not excruciating but it's more than mild with the occasional sharp twinges. I've needed to take paracetamol a few times and that has usually cleared it up.
Ive had 2 miscarriages previously and had a scare last week so I'm quite worried.
Has anyone else experienced this and had a normal healthy pregnancy? I just really need know that other women have been through this in early pregnancy so that I can stop stressing about it. Btw, I've mentioned the on/off pain to the doctors when I was in the hospital and all they did was give me paracetamol. Appreciate any responses 😙 Thanks
I had quite a lot of cramping in early pregnancy, sometimes really sharp twinges and sometimes just sore. It's just round ligament pain as far as I'm aware, and paracetamol & a warm bath is a good way to help you relax. Try not to stress Hun, being relaxed is so important x
Before I fell pregnant I had a chemical pregnancy (miscarriage), and soon after I fell pregnant again. For me I noticed cramping quite intense lasting 5 mins every 2 weeks or so it's when the uterus stretches. I just began to recognise them and breathed my way through it. It can be so uncomfortable but it did go. I usually did something to distract me like visualise scenery and breathing inhale/exhale X X
@ttcrainbowbaby, it's up to you hun if it does make u feel better and all take it. i do know it's alright to take it in pregnancy but i'm trying to go all organic xx
@apunini I was initially only taking one paracetamol until the gynae doctor at the hospital assured me that taking paracetamol was not a problem at all I do take two now. Not often. Maybe every other day ish? As and when I need it. It is nice to hear that I'm not alone though. Thanks for responding @littleelf85
i had quit a few cramping around the same time i also had such a bad back ache for 2 weeks that i couldnt walk one step without giving me pain! i havent take paracetemol as i just want to stay out as much as i can from chemical substances whileni'm pregnant.x just try to relax hun, and drink loads of water!it helps cramping alot!xx
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?

Trigger. Lost baby
Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
I have had some awful cramping hun. Sometimes worse than my period was but I'm now 19+5 and perfectly healthy. When I asked my mw about it she said as long as there is no blood not to worry as everybody suffers different x
