ladies can you help me! I've been for a 31 week scan. twin 1 and 2 were both head up 4 weeks ago and today twin 1 is head down. but twin 1 has gone from 2lb 7oz to 2lb 9oz. twin 2 has gone from 1lb 15oz to 3lb 11oz. I'm adamant they have the twins mixed up and twin 1 has gone from 2lb 7oz to 3lb 11oz and twin 2 has gone from 1lb 15oz to 2lb 9oz.
Sorry I know it's confusing but but does anybody else think the hospital can be wrong considering you can't actually tell which twin is which as they are both boys!
had to have steroid shot today, another tomorrow, going in sat for monitoring and then back Monday for another scan!
I'm freaking out to be honest xxx
@raych I might be wrong but with what little I know of TTTS, it's between identical twins. So wouldn't that rule you out for that? I'm pretty sure the weight increase is possible too, they aren't as accurate as you'd think either. My cousin had twins a long while back but while they were gestating, Dr's measured twin A as bigger than twin B but when they were born, twin B came first and was much bigger! Twin A was 3lb something and Twin B was over 5lb! They are identical twins but apparently they could tell the difference by the skull.
I would do what's best for you and babies hun. Surely they would have noticed if it was twin to twin transfusion by now? It's something they normally look out for from the beginning (my friend had twins) I went to all her appointments as she didn't have a partner. It's all they worried about on scans in the beginning. Xx
@raych Well thats a massive gain of weight...but I guess if its the correct twin...he just made up for it? 😘 usually there's a thin membrane dividing them? so they wont be able to get them mixed up I shouldnt think xx Ask for a second opinion hun xxx
it's just 1 has put 2lb on and the other 2oz! they are non identical apparently but now they are talking about twin to twin transfusion!!! I'm very tempted to ask for a 2nd opinion @winterbaby95 @stacey804 xx
Hun :) they'll be able to tell even though they are identical...as they wont shift much in the womb...especially at 30 weeks :) It maybe possible they have...but I doubt it hun xxx I'm sure its nothing to worry about though 😘 One twin will always be smaller...they'll grow at different rates xxx
I'm not an expert. Are the twins in separate sacks or same? I guess they can make mistakes, they can get the gender wrong so I don't see how they can't get other things misunderstood. Xx

My husband and I aren’t exactly strangers when it comes to relationship challenges 💞. We have been together for 14 years and married for eight, so we’ve definitely gone through some growing pains as we navigated a long-distance relationship in college and our first year living together as a married 👫 couple.
But nothing has challenged our relationship quite like our first year as 👪 parents .
Before you have your first child, you have these grand ideas of what it will be like. There’s more slee...

& the twins are finally here! Truly love at first sight. 😘😘
Twin A: Machi 5lbs 15oz born at 1:59
Twin B: Malachi 5lbs 11oz born at 2:00
Both of them are 19 inches long & completely healthy!
Hi Moms and Moms-to-be,
@Simpsonv54 's son is 3-months old and is in the hospital for the fourth time. Her family is currently at the Children's Hospital of Atlanta and has an urgent request for help and advice. These are her words:
- Ok mommies, I need advice from anyone who may have had a similar situation as ours. Both us and my son's Dr's here at children's are at a loss as to what could be going on with him. Here is our story! At nine weeks old, on September 17th my son started running...
Moms and Moms-to-be,
Many of you were worried about @zombie_kitty69 who hasn't been in the app for about two weeks. She's thankful for your concern and wrote this to be posted:
Hello I'm Rachel, I'm 19 and a FTM of a little boy named Mason Wayde((due 01-01-2016). Now to my story. This is what happen at the appointment Thursday, June 25th... Hi Preggies,
Hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday. Long time Preggiemom @tater4414 has been in the hospital for five days going in and out of silent labor. She's 5cm and 100% effaced, but her daughter is only 33 to 34 weeks along. Her baby is going to be a preemie and will have to be in the NICU for some time.
@tater4414 would really appreciate any advice from moms who have gone through something like this. She's a first time mom with no experience with preemies. Please message her or leave...
they should have drawn a diagram in your notes at your first scan and noted which twin was twin 1 and which was twin 2. You don't always see the same sonographer so they need to know which is which so they get it correct. x
