Little Langston is getting his shots this morning and it doesn't make any sense to me that maternity leave is only 6 weeks, paternity leave barely even exists, but your baby doesn't get his or her first shots until 2months old. Then they tell u not to take the baby out and keep the baby away from crowds and sick people until the baby gets his or her shots.

Who is supposed to watch the baby for 2 weeks when the mom goes back to work? The baby's fairy godmother?? I need answers

Flu shot is necessary?? I took my son to his new pediatrician yesterday. I loved her! Except for one thing. She said to go back in 4 months so my son gets his flu shot. I told her we don't get the flu shot and she said he has to because I'm having a baby soon and that's what's best. Really? He got the tdap and I'm getting the tdap in two weeks but is the flu shot really necessary? I've always been against getting it. What are your thoughts?

Am I wrong for thinking he doesn't deserve to be in my sons life? He hasn't wanted anything to do with this baby until last week. When I told him I was pregnant he begged me to get an abortion. He didn't tell his family about the baby until last week. Literally. He hasn't given me money, diapers, anything at all for the baby. And suddenly he expects me to just let him have the baby 50/50. Like no.. It doesn't work that way, and he thinks he should get full custody?
