so if I'm nursing and pumping (started yesterday more so today) is it normal to be getting less while pumping? will it take a couple days for me to see a difference? I usually nurse her and then pump. if she goes more then 2 hours without wanting to eat I just pump.
@lexij, your body makes about 1-1.5oz every hours your away from baby my daughter also only nurses and I just finished my first week at work I work 8hr with drive home it's 9 hours she drinks about 12-13.5oz when I'm gone and I nurse right away and that's awesome just try to stick to the same times I also do that your doing wonderful mama☺️ also a freezer stash is so helpful be sure to check for high lipase my daughter hates my frozen milk currently so I have to provide her fresh breast milk when I go to work it's means I pump on the weekends so I always have leftovers I put Thursday's leftover in my freezer stash
I'm leaving 8 oz out for tomorrow and sticking the rest in the freezer.
@lizzib00, yep. I had 6 oz for her and formula just case she needed more. I wasn't sure because she's Bern just nursing on me. but I nursed this morning before work then pumped, pumped at work, nursed when I got home and pumped. I had 9 oz from those 3 times. I just nursed again and I'm pumping again. probably for the last time tonight. then I'll do it again before I leave in the morning like I did today.
Certain time of days you will pump less I use to pump while exclusively nursing and got extra 7-10oz in a day I pump first thing in the morning after baby eats fully and then the other other two times I pump one breast while baby latches to the other if you consistently pump around the same times your milk pumps should increase mine did another thing I recommend is to try not to take the milk baby needs to nurse when I pump the other breast it's when she ate that side before and I know my breast will have enough time to refill for her needs baby will nurse longer if you remove that milk that you're body had for her but another thing is your breast will always be making milk it's supply and demand I do it this way and I pump more for my daughter while I'm at work and then I nurse her when I get home did you have breast milk for her when you went back to work?
@cubanese, I meant I'm getting less pumping now at this time of day then I was earlier this afternoon. sorry I wasn't clear. lol
@cubanese, I know that. but I work tomorrow which is the main reason I'm pumping already.
normal yes. what to do? I don't know, it happens to me tho. I think it has to do with storage capabilities of the breast I read that in an article I'll post it here if you want to read it

Ladies I called my insurance about breast pump and they said with their insurance in order to get a pump I get a prescription from doctor then I call 3 different numbers to see what my insurance covers but the only thing is I have to wait til baby is born to call and get pump so I want to at least buy a hand pump which do you ladies recommend for hand pump and when I can get a pump from insurance please n thank you 💖💖

I did itttttt!!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾😩
Worstttttt painnnn everrrr omg!
I got an epidural but it didn’t work for me🤷🏽♀️ so I It all natural!! I m so proud of myself. I was screaming soooo loud but the nurses were awesome and they were so encouraging. While I was contracting, I told my husband no more kids...and he recorded it for evidence 😒 lol but after holding my sweet baby boy. I definitely changed me mind. Lol
Welcome Ashton Marcel Evansscott into the world☺️☺️☺️
pumping?
Ive only nursed non stop, but i would like to pump so i can go to the store or go out with my husband for an hr. But im nervous to pump. Anyone else? What if i pump and take away his food nd won't have any.

FINALLY got some nursing clothes and all I can say is why the heck didn't I get them sooner! Having to disrobe down to a bra or bra-shirt to nurse is annoying as heck, I will be so much more confident and comfortable now and could actually nurse in public if I needed to!
My son loves the bottle more than my breast 😫 he gets so fussy when I give him my breast but has no issue with with bottle. As long as his eating I’m okay with it. I’ve been pumping and I hate pumping!!
@lizzib00, thanks. I'm trying really hard this time around. I'm also still taking my vitamins, drinking mostly just water, and eating oatmeal in the morning a and before bed even though I hate it. 😷 lol
