My baby will not latch with out the nipple shield. Is it ok to continue using it? It's already been almost 3weeks.

a nurse at hospital told Me to use it. I have tried off and on all day to go without he just won't even try to latch without it. It's not gonna hurt him using it this long is it???

whos idea was the shield? usually its the last option. hopefully the LC can help you ☺

I don't know if he just got used to it or what but I didn't even try without it till 2weeks Mayne that was a mistake?
