Do any of you use dr brown bottles for colic? If so do they work good?

i use the dr browns for my daughter, and she seems to do fine on them. in fact she seems alot happier when we use them vs the other generic brand we have. and she spits up alot less with the dr browns! 😉

@babynumber2ontheway, I bought the option bottles, they are a little more but I liked the idea that eventually the venting system can come out. I HATE them! They leak!! You start to feed and once bottle is put upright they start to leak. I was so over it that I emailed drB and the nice lady sent me a new venting system to try. I'm washing them now so I don't know the outcome. I also purchased the original where you always have to use the venting system and LOVE them, never have had a problem.

I hate them because my son swallowed air so much that he would scream all day and night from belly aches. I use Nuk now, but he's mostly breastfed

My girlfriend at work has them and she hates them! We were just talking about it today. She has her baby on gentle formula and has to put cereal inside bc of the colic. She said it gets all backed up. She is stuck with 19 bottles.

@babynumber2ontheway, neither did browns 4 years ago for my daughter so once she was over the colic I moved to agent because I was over those inserts haha So this is a nice change and truly not even a difference in price.

@usafwife, oh that's good to know! Tomee tipee didn't have that option!

@babynumber2ontheway, I love them! And now then sell them with "options" so once they are over that you can STILL use the bottle without the inserts! Which is great!

@beebaby, awesome! @usafwife that's what I think I'm gonna try. Our son had colic and we used the tomee tipee kind last time, but want to try something different.

I used them with my daughter after trying many many different bottles! They were amazing for her. She had colic as well. I already bought those for baby #2!

I used them and they for sure cut down on all the air the baby was getting before. my son stopped spitting up and everything
