How soon were some of you able to get out of the house after having baby? (Assuming it was a vaginal birth and no otherwise complications). I'm hoping to be able to get out within a week (or less, optimistically). The thought of staying in my house for more than that sounds horrible lol, I'm not one who likes to be in confinement. Granted I may not mind considering we'll be adjusting but none the less, I'd love to get out if I'm able to :)

With my first daughter I took her for a walk in the stroller the day I came home from the hospital. With my second I think I went to the store the day after I came home from the hospital. This time I'll be giving birth in December so I think I'll wait longer.

I went to Walmart the next day. the day of her birth I slept most of the day. fiance said he was going to the store and I said I'm coming too and he gave me a weird look like "woman you just popped a baby out your vagina and you wanna go walk around the damn store" lmao

I was fine to go out but I had zerooo complications whatsoever not even stitches or tearing. It was more that I was worried about baby getting germs so I stayed inside a lot except for taking her on walks (I had a July baby) when the sun went down which I did almost everyday. As long as the baby is warm and comfortable I don't think it should be a problem. But I tried working out two weeks pp and bled really heavy so just try and do light stuff and relax but still enjoy fresh air!
