it seemed like it was a while. lol atleast 5 minutes. I'm fixing to watch my after birth video & see. I'm not sure if my OB waited until my placenta was delivered or not.

How long did you wait? :) i read that it's at least 3 mins & until the placenta delivers then it can get cut but am still researching further more @heatherlg88

I did it too!! my baby has been so healthy & I think it's because the delayed clamping we did!!

"The benefits of delayed cord clamping for the baby include a normal, healthy blood volume for the transition to life outside the womb; and a full count of red blood cells, stem cells and immune cells.
