Everyone say hello to my long awaited beautiful son, Jacob George sharpe 💙

He was born today at 5.22pm & weighing in at an adorable 6lbs and 11oz.

Was in slow early labor for 3 days previous, eventually went in last night at 8pm with strong contractions 3-4 mins apart.... Had diamorphine at the very beginning of labor. Had to have my waters broken which then followed a hormone drip because I was just not dilating.

I was in "active labor" for probably less than 6 hours but in "early labor" for 4 days

After adding in the hormone drip I can honestly say I've never felt pain like it. Induction is just awful 😭 by the time I just couldn't deal

With the pain it was too late for pain relief.

Got through it all with gas & air and my wonderful OH who I couldn't have done it without to be honest.

Anyway. Here he is! Our little prince 💙
