Every time I pump I make less and less. I'm starting to think I'm drying up. I've always had issues with not making enough but it's getting worse. I normally make 3.5-4.5 ounces on my right breast, but now I'm struggling just to get 3. This is really upsetting me because she only likes breast milk and won't eat formula unless there's a little bit of breastmilk in it. I take fenugreek, I drink over a gallon of water a day, I use heat packs. I guess I can try lactation cookies again, but I don't know if they'll help as much as they used to
I actually have loads of breastmilk from pumping in the nicu and my son couldn't have I was gonna try donating if you want it I just don't know how I'd get it to you
@hayhayes1, I do that sometimes to help keep a good supply of breastmilk but I'm just melting bags faster than I can fill them even when I do that. I want to be able to give her breastmilk her whole first year
it's really sad but when they are absolutely hungry they will drink the formula. I felt so bad when my baby first started formula but it was doctors orders. I could tell he hated it.. but he's adapted to it. because he was hungry. you could always mix it half and half all together
@hayhayes1, yeah that would be hard since you're in Missouri and I'm in Kentucky. I did have a friend who was selling her extra milk but idk if she still is. It's just upsetting when you don't make enough for your own baby
