Is it sad to pay for and plan my own baby shower? I just know there is no one planning one and won't be😢

I was going to but when I mentioned it to a friend she said that she wouldn't hear of it and is now doing it for me. It was a nice surprise :) still in the planning!

I just got all my friends around mine did party type food and played baby shower games X

@mariaelizabeth, Hun one just had mine today, I organised it myself and paid for most of it. My mum paid for the foody bits. And my sister was there on hand to help. I didn't really think my sister would have done a fvery good job plus she was away in Dubai till yesterday lol I had afternoon tea with family and friends round mums it was lovely xxx go for it Hun x

Okay deffo think I'm going to go for it then! Going to see how many people I actually want to invite and see if I can get away with doing it at my flat, but I only have a few seats...😩😂 @hawkie75 xxx

It would be nice if a friend or your family did it for you. What about your mum/sister(s)?

But totally go for doing your own baby shower. I plan on doing my own. My friends and family will help but I'd like to make my own decisions. As for paying for it, food can cost as much or less as you want it to. You coukd do just snacks or a proper sit down meal. Totally up to you. If you do it all yourself or with someone's help it should be doable on a budget.

Yeah it would..but I just don't think anyone will! Might see if my mum wants to get involved, I'm sure she will ☺️ I would want to just do little party snacks and a few party games! :) xxx
