Has anyone every supplemented formula but only at night?? For some reason my LO is always acting so hungry at night and i just can't seem to keep up with her, hardly any milk comes out and she gets all angry and cries. I've tried hand expressing to see if I can get anything out and hardly a drop or two comes out 😢 I've tried mothers milk tea a few hours before bed and it doesn't seem to work. In the morning I'm practically engorged though. Help 😁

@samclark5, it may be clutter feeding and/or growth spurt she's upping her supply you wouldn't need to do formula your body will meet her needs even if it takes a few days I'm sorry I misread it also I suffered with that where my daughter screamed at the breast and was very upset I worried a lot but I kept her on the breast it eventually went away in a few days it was extremely hard though also during the night time your let down slows down so baby may be upset that the flow is not as fast as during the day I wake up engorged also as long as she has enough wet and poo diapers then you should be fine mama! Again I'm really sorry.
@lizzib00, I haven't supplemented formula at all I was just wondering if anyone has gone through the same thing I had.
@dohmommy2016, that was my worry 😞 no supplementing going on over here, hopefully my body can catch up with her soon
The more you nurse the more your body will create. don't supplement with formula it will decrease your supply greatly
@khalil_mommy, I've never heard of that, I'll give it a try 💕 @lara93 oh definitely girl, she latches really well and for the most part we don't have a problem just from like 6-12 @myliltadpole1116 I drink tons of water everyday 😂 my hubby calls me a mermaid, I spoke to one in the hospital but that's it, maybe I'll contact one 😊
Make sure your drinking plenty of water and eating healthy! If your under 6-8 weeks pp then your probably doing okay with your supply! It doesn't establish until that time. we also had a very hard time with my son and bf with weight checks .. My next thought is ,have you talked with a lactation consultant?@samclark5
i dont really produce alot, and baby doesn't latch. he gets really fussy and cries bloody Maries until i feed him so i pump and give him breast milk during the day and formula at night. he got use to the bottle bc he was in the nicu for like 3 days so they ded him formula.
Have you tried brewers yeast? That's what worked for me to help increase my supply. And I supplied when he came home from the NICU to help him gain weight but I stopped after a week cause it made him extremely constipated.

@samclark5 lol theyre still trying to figure it all out. so are we! but i assure you, even if youre feeling "empty" shes able to get milk out so dont worry.
@kambam, that's what I figured, I just feel terrible when she's crying cause she's hungry. She gets so mad she yanks on my nipple and then looks for it again like I'm tricking her or something
definitely keep nursing if she wants it and she'll stay on. you have enough milk if youre waking up engorged. idk hand expressing is hard it takes practice imo! my baby acts hungry all day but he just wants to suckle ❤

My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
I find it pretty hilarious how people who have shown their true colors on social media snake away, delete the posts that outed them and come back on social media like nothing happened. Why do that, you outed yourself, so stay out. We still see you boo boo...

So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
IUI Monday!!
So today I went in for my routine bloodwork and ultrasound, and found out that I have three follicles at 17mm! Plus another two at 15mm. When leaving the clinic my FS said to take another dose of gonal-f and come back tomorrow to check to see how big they got and that we would do the iui on Wednesday. Well, after getting home, taking my gonal-f and going out to shovel snow (lol) I get a call saying that I am SURGING!!! I haven't ovulated on my own, or even come close to it in years...
