I need comforting words from mommies who have had babies in the NICU. I'm beyond heart broken at my situation, I'm being discharged tomorrow and knowing I won't be able to bring home my baby is killing me.

Oh mama, it's gonna be okay :( my baby spent a month and a half in the NICU.... The babies in the NICU are all FIGHTERS and your baby needs your positive thoughts to keep them going. The only advice I can give really is do everything you can do for them when you're there. Visit them, sing to them, read to them. Til this day my baby is comforted by the lullaby song I would hum to him through his incubator. Just do lots of skin to skin and know that how you feel effects them!

I agree with @snowwbunny I spend every min I had at the NICU with my son. He was born at 30 week and 6 days. Just stay positive and everything is going to be okay. My son is now 3 months at home thriving. You baby boy will be home sooner than you know it. Sending my prayers for you and baby boy!

@snowwbunny, @khalil_mommy thank you girls. This has brought me some comfort. I'm trying my hardest to be there and be strong for him . But Is it bad that whenever I go see him I want to cry :( because I don't want him to feel my sadness. I'm just overwhelmed with emotion whenever I see him .

That is completely normal. When I first got home I just cried for hours because my baby was not home with me. It's going to be hard but you can push through it. We have super hero mommy powers!!!! Always if you are breastfeeding pump pump pump pump. Breastmilk is the best thing for NICU babies. And if you supply isn't high every little bit helps. If you need anything dont hesitate to message me...

I don't have experience but just know your baby is in the best hands. it isn't the ideal situation you want to be in but right now it's what is best for your baby. I can only imagine what youre feeling. I wish you and your baby the best (:

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

Birth Plan Rant I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?
