was told I'm not producing enough milk and now have to also give 2 oz of formula after each breast feed because elijah dropped too much weight too fast. 😔 feel like the worst mom ever I can't even feed him right 😢

I had the same problem. My son lost more than 10 percent of his weight in 3 days so we had to start giving him formula along with the breast milk. I was pretty upset with myself but I started to feel better once he started gaining weight back. I'm feeding him as much as I can as well as pumping trying to get my supply up so hopefully he can go back to only my milk. Just try to remember what matters most is that your baby is fed and will still be healthy either way as long as he is getting enough.

don't give up! your milk probably hasn't came in completely. my daughter was born 6.9lbs.. and went down to 6.2. her doctor said it was normal. but to feed her more often. with my son it was similar but his doctor said to give him formula. I was so sad but didn't give up and he never took an ounce of formula!
I understand you feel like it's your fault I promise that it is not their son moms that can't even breast-feed at all you are giving your baby enough even if he's not eating as much is he supposed to to gain weight you are still giving him some of your milk try not to be too hard on yourself and the most important thing to remember is your sweet baby love you either way!!

I am into my 15 week now
But since last two days am not having good feeling....I just feel something is wrong inside wid d kid...all my symptoms r too less
Morning sickness is gone....Metallic taste of my tounge is also less....and I feel pain in my abdoman twice or thrice which is very minor though
What should i do i am very confused
Already have gone through 5 scans because of changing gynec

If you don't want to do the formula look into donor breastmilk. My boys had the same problem but once my milk came in I was able to stop. They only had donor milk for one day.
