Hubby and I decided our LO will not be getting the flu shot. After reading whats in the shot and effects, its terrifying. We'll just have to start her on probiotics which I'm okay with!

They do! and most of those side effects are terrifying, especially seeing what they do to adults, couldn't even imagine what it does to children. The way I see it is, if your doctor/ped give fuss over not getting a shot, they only care for the money. @rennysmommy
Both my son and I don't get the flu shot. He does get his regular vaccinations but usually nothing extra. I am am not and anti vacc mom but some of them have lots of side effect ect feel like someone just wants to make money off of them sometimes.
Just so I dont get any more rude messages- My daughter gets all her other shots she needs, just not the flu shot. If that is an issue to you or feel the need to judge me, keep scrolling. thanks. :)
IUI Monday!!
So today I went in for my routine bloodwork and ultrasound, and found out that I have three follicles at 17mm! Plus another two at 15mm. When leaving the clinic my FS said to take another dose of gonal-f and come back tomorrow to check to see how big they got and that we would do the iui on Wednesday. Well, after getting home, taking my gonal-f and going out to shovel snow (lol) I get a call saying that I am SURGING!!! I haven't ovulated on my own, or even come close to it in years...

Do I want to be uncomfortable as hell for 40-42 weeks?
Do I want to be in horrible pain for up to 14-16 hours even longer
Can I handle pushing a big ass head through my vagina
Can I handle this with no pain meds(sometimes u can't make it in time)
Do I want to go to the hospital 10x before I'm actually in labor.
Because inducing your labor at 32-37 weeks for your own selfish needs or getting a csection to do it the "easy" way is just plain selfish and FYI a...

i went back and forth on this for a while. My boys will be vaccinated but I, myself, never got the flu shot unless it was mandatory at school. When it became my choice i never chose to have it and i havent gotten the flu since when i used to get the flu shot! Everyone I know who gets the shot ends up with the flu. I totally get the choice to not have the the flu shot administered
