I start work Tuesday....this is going to pretty much be my set up for breast feeding alone at nights now. I have at the bottom what I use for my:

1)oatmeal

Brewers yeast

Oats

Raisin/blueberries

Banana

Sugar for a sweeter taste to kill the Brewers yeast taste

2) at the bottom minimum of water and power aid for the day

3) top I usually make enough oatmeal for three servings, eat one save two for throughout the day (I don't have an appetite and I force myself to eat at least oatmeal for my breastmilk I pretty much eat it all day)

4) mother milk tea for the day (I use flavor creamer in it only nothing else)

5) I eat half of banana in my oatmeal the other half I freeze to add to a smoothie with my flaxseeds

This is just a start for me I really want to be able produce enough milk to pump wile I'm at work. Feel free to give me suggestions.

I want to know if anyone added cereal or oatmeal to your baby's bottle. My little man gets lazy sometimes and doesn't want to eat his oatmeal so I give him his formula. He only drinks 6oz but that is not enough and he's hungry but won't drink more than 6oz per feeding so I was wondering if it is okay to put cereal/oatmeal in his bottle. What are your thoughts?

Do you have to eat good in order to breastfeed? My MiL always asks if I'm eating good and I tell her yea just because I don't want to argue with her (I only eat like once or twice if I'm lucky a day) but I mean, there are women in third world countries who breastfeed and I'm sure they rarely eat themselves too. She always says that if I don't eat proper meals throughout the day my milk will 'dry up' is this true??
