How long is baby suppose to be on your boob ? My baby is just on it still sucking but falling asleep. Is he still getting milk ? Should I switch him to my other boob or just leave him idk what to do
a pacifier? yeah I hated them but my mil didn't listen and gave him one everytime I turned around his first week since she stayed with me to "help" so now I have no choice!
Oh okay yeah he will asleep on it. I had to give him one even tho I don't want to but he just sucks on his hands and arms way to much @autumnrae
sometimes they just suckle also to comfort themselves!!! That's why pacifiers work!!! some nights my baby will do it for hours! it's when they are sucking but not actively trying to express milk, it also helps keep your supply up
Oh girl he's exhausted! lol. if he stops sucking he's ok. his belly is super small. Google the size of their stomach at this age. he's ok. if you're concerned, pump a bottle, then feed him to see exactly how much he drinks
I never kept track of time when I was breastfeeding. I was too tired I just switched when I felt like it. @ambyjay7
Yeah that's what they told me too. I haven't been counting at all. @babynessa
Yeah I did that then he sucks again. Then just knocked out so I wrap him and he woke up so I put him on the other boob. Yeah he's a newborn only 4 days old lol @landuhzluv
Pat his booty to wake him.. but even if he is nodding off, he's getting milk..If he's a newborn, they sleep constantly. They need to feed every 2 to 3 hours...no longer than 4..
