Yeah you can try actual food like @arivera64 said. Not chunks of food obviously but can try foods like rice, bits of bread, tiny pieces of basically whatever real food you eat. With my first born I started giving him regular food around 5 months if I remember. I barely gave him baby food he hated it too

when you said he's not taking any formula it just sounded as if you were a formula feeding mom. I would have understood better if you mentioned that you bf and tried some formula to supplement but he refused lol.

Maybe instead of the baby food you could do baby led weaning and start giving him small pieces of foods? Some babies don't like mush lol

he's probably not ready yet. The saying goes. ...food before 1 is just got fun. for the 1st yr milk is all the truly need

Give it time. They are learning to chew, getting use to textures, and shallowing. Just keep practicing everyday and they will get the hang of it. My son didn't really care for food for a couple months and only ate a little. :)
