at 14, a month away from turning 15. I felt really different. My boobs were sore to touch, my period wasn't coming. I didn't want to believe it, but I knew something was up. so i bought a test with my friend. We went back to her house I peed on it and we both sat in the bath room together. I made her look, I didn't want to see. she looked and she said "Oh my God, Ciara" and I knew exactly what it said...she followed with "What are you going to do?" well that's a good question haha. I know I was young. I was irresponsible. but I grew up, I never pawned my child off into someone else. he became my world!
4 years go by and I'm 19 (: in July I got my IUD taken out since it moved. I got put on the pill. I set my alarm to take it at work each night. I was doing super good! if I missed a pill, I didn't have sex. Then I go to pick up December pills and they told me my insurance won't pay for it so my total will be $100 some dollars. I said screw that and walked out. my mom called her insurance and got it taken care of. They were going to send me a 3 month supply. I had enough for a few more days...i received them on a Friday. We had my boyfriend's surprise birthday party Saturday. Monday came and when I woke up my boobs were extremely sore but they usually got like that when I was getting my period. but then I realized I'm way past due for my period! I didn't even notice. so i took rhe test that I had from a previous scare. And it quickly came back as positive. I texted my boyfriend and said happy birthday..im pregnant! hahaha. he was excited to have his first biological kid. but asked if I was 100% sure because he was told he couldn't have kids. so i went to the store and grabbed two more boxes one digital and one reg. and they all came back positive. our baby is now a year old. I had her when I was 20.
I may be a young mom but I love my babies more than anything in this world.

@adaraa126, I know age has nothing to do with how well you parent but I know some feel that every young mom is a bad mom and doesn't care about their kid.
Age has nothing to do with it, i have seen plenty of successful young moms. I have also seen plenty of people in their 30s who shouldnt be parents. keep up the good work.
Am I a bitch? My husband wanted to go to lunch with a girl who's a friend but her boyfriend wouldn't be there. I threw a fit and got upset and he didn't go, should I have let him?
My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile dropped to 10 or less. Last thursday, it was 10 percentile, and he said if she didn't come on her own by 38 weeks, he would induce labor at that time. I'm 36 weeks 1 day today, he said my cervix was super thin, and 1cm dilated. Is there a possibility this can change... that my doctor will let her just come on her own? I don't want to be induced, i would much rather her come on her ...
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
So over this feeling!
Ever since I've had ds, OH and I have fought my mother on not wanting to give ds a dummy just cause we don't like them and find he self soothes. For the past three times my mother has had him, she has gone against our rule and given him a dummy and of course I spoke to her about it (that's all my knowledge on how many times she's done it). Ok, so my friend is wanting to get pregnant but..... Her fiancé does not want kids, at lease for another 3-5 years he said... so she came up with the idea to have me pee on a stick for her and show it to him so that he’ll be comfortable with not wearing a condom and finishing in her.. basically the whole idea is to make him think she’s pregnant already...... so I do this favor for her or should I tell my girl to chill?
He and my husband are friends through us and he’s going to invite him over...
it does happen..but as i said there are plenty of people my age or older who do the same thing, just keep proving them wrong!
