not that ill be able to do this any time soon but i want opinions! kinda wanna do a change because iv been a natural blonde my whole life and never colored! Anybody think any of these 3 are good choices? can i pull off dark hair?!
so you know all cosmetologists are taught that henna is a no no because of the whole henna and chemicals don't mix but also it doesn't make them money because they can't work with it but that's a whole other matter so don't be surprised if she speaks against it , this doesn't mean she can't help you apply it, henna is time consuming- the longer the dye sits in your hair the better- having a friend help makes it fun @pbandjones
@loveless, my best friend cuts my hair at her salon so i will ask her about the henna! Thank you! 😊
if you want a change you can try henna to dye hair, it's natural and very healthy for your hair and body- your hair will love you forever if use henna. but be warned it is permanent, you can only grow out the color (that eventually gives a cool ombre look) and you cannot color over it or bleach it which goes with the most vital information; do not mix chemicals with henna or buy henna dye that has chemicals in it, the way henna works is by embedding into your roots, when you mix chemicals with henna or say you bleach/have any chemical treatment done before applying henna, the henna will carry those chemicals into your roots causing long-term damage more severe than if you just used chemical dye. so I will say again do not mix henna with chemicals. color wise it is unpredictable, because henna works with your root color it won't turnout exactly the same color as someone you see on a box of dye but I can tell you that say you want to be a brunette or a red head and you use henna the color will come out as if you were a natural brunette or born with red hair. the color will be the most complimentary to your natural root color. anyway I believe everyone should try henna at least once because it is super awesome and your hair will feel the best it ever has so if that's something your interested in totally look into it, and good henna brands I've used are Lush and Henna King @pbandjones
how did you do this hair color test thing anyway? Like an app and if so what is it called?
lol iv never touched my hair with any colors! Not even highlights! 🙈 I do this every year! I want to change it up and then i chicken out because im just so used to being blonde! I guess im what im supposed to be lol @loveless @mamatokyren
the blonde!!! it brings out your eyes so much! if you want to switch it up get highlights but dark looks good too though
oh ok that makes sense @loveless
