what do you ladies think of the "cry it out" method?

I didn't do it and my daughter sleeps fine in her crib. Putting her in her crib for naps helps her get used to it

I don't want anyone to think we just leave him, it's just that anytime we put him down he cries whether or not he's eaten, been changed, doesn't matter.

I do it sometimes if I know he's fighting sleep and is super tired. I don't let him just scream forever. I can tell by his cries if he's just being a big baby about it or actually mad, if that makes sense lol. When he's really mad he cries so hard he gets sweaty so I don't leave him in there then.

I've heard of the pick up put down method letting him cry then picking him up. we just are looking for ways to encourage him to sleep in his bassinet in his crib. we've been sleeping with his bassinet in the bad which leaves no room for us.

I did 10min check in after she hit 8m old. She sleeps so good now. Normally asleep within 5 minutes after she got the hang of it (which only took 2 days) I feel like younger then 6m they aren't ready yet but I could tell she was ready to learn to deal with light sleep mode.

I do it just not long, 5 minutes tops.

I did it with my daughter but only for a limited time. I didn't just leave her in the crib till she fell asleep.
