I have a low pain tolerance if you are not using a nipple shield I highly recommend it is still painful but more doable. With my first I only lasted 3 weeks exclusive bf but this go round we decided to have formula in the mix for many different reasons I probably bf 80% of the time or more and do formula 20% or less. for us it works better and less stressful. Do what works for you because in the end if you are stressed or defeated that can also make bf harder.

Don't give up! It's hard for a little bit, but I promise it gets better. I had a hard time at first, but it got so much better. I still have some problems sometimes. But I also use formula (cause I have a colic baby) but I only give it to her at night before bed. Breastfeeding AND doing formula isn't bad at all. 💕

Thank you! I have been so down because I just relate his feeding time to pain and it makes me feel bad but I am trying my hardest to push through just because I know it will help boost his immunity.
