Does anyone else's breast milk color change from time to time? I've read that it can due to changes in diet. This is the first time I think the color of mine is actually changed though.
Supposedly the body can't tell through the saliva or something like that if the baby is sick ...
My dr said its due to the baby and what he needs.....it changes on whatever good stuff he needs more then something else in the milk esp if he's sick it will be more filled with good stuff then normal....
@scidg3, oh that's perfect then. They can add sparkles or shimmers to it also.
@valrocks, I want to do the same before I stop bf! I think it's so cool and my kids birthstone is pearl in excited!
this is too cool! that's a great self reward! And what an inventive idea! @valrocks
There's more companies but those are the 3 I follow. I haven't decided which company I want to order from yet. I still need to compare cost and quality. I'm waiting to hit 6 months and then reward myself.
I have a bag of milk that's pink. They say it's from blood in the milk but I'm not sure. It's from the early days of my pumping. I'm saving it to make jewelry with.
mine has never changed, but I heard it can turn yellow all the way up to orange due to diet.
The color change is to accommodate the baby and what they need so when you see a change the baby could be getting sick or need more of a certain nutrients. It's like medicine and food for a baby
