Hello mumma's. 👋🏻
I need a bit of help or advice..
I'm due any day now with a little girl, however my 2 year old has become very naughty. He does not listen anymore, when it comes to dinner time he chucks his food on the floor then cries. Also I've recently seen him in the nursery messing around with little ones stuff. He tries to hit me when I tell him off.
My mum said that he could be feeling very emotional as he's becoming a big brother and its a daunting experience.
I'm not sure what to do. Has anybody else been in a similar position?

Children no matter what age tend to play up when they know things are changing especially when it comes to a new addition to the family. He's so young and change is always unsettling. I would expect this kind of behaviour to last even after baby is here until he feels more settled. I think @sara-lou has given some good advice. You should defo try that but yeah I agree, make sure your giving him attention. it's probably what he's seeking anyway.
Continue as normal as much as you can. Discipline his bad behaviour but make sure your praising the good. I'm sure you do but make sure he's still getting lots of attention, include him when your talking about baby or putting baby bits together. But don't make too much of a fuss. It's perfectly normal for changes of behaviour just before & after babies born. Once babies here make sure if people visit they say hello to him first & make a bit of a fuss before they go to baby. It's confusing for them & they'll fight for attention however they can get it so it's just trying to keep things as normal as you can. I started doing time out for bad behaviour when Morgan started playing up & it really helped. But I also praise him when he does something good. Big or small lol.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Trigger. Lost baby
Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
Who else has financial issues within their relationship?? Or am I just lucky 🙄🙄
Not sure if I'm being just mean or what. But my SO used $160 from me this morning. I gave him my bank card because he needed $60 to get material for work. His boss was going to give it back to him at the end of the day. So instead of $60 he took out $160. Which I was a little pissed. (One of the reasons I just can't let him use my card. I have to go get the money from the atm myself if I'm giving it to him) then, to...
@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer.
My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk out...
