Thoughts on smoking cigarettes while breastfeeding? I havnt had one my entire pregnancy and I'm so stressed out/exhausted/in pain that I'm craving one really badly. I told my bf and he got pissed off that I would want to smoke after so long, and while breastfeeding. (Not during but you understand). Pros? Cons?
I don't smoke weed. So I guess I will never understand. But I'm not sure why people smoke weed when they're pregnant!
Hair loss while breastfeeding? Is it common? I'm losing sooo much hair. Can I take biotin or something else for it while I'm breastfeeding? Did any of you ladies experience this? I hate it. My hair is already thin so I swear I feel like I'm going bald ?
What do you mommies think about smoking pot or eating edibles while pregnant/ breast feeding ? Is it bad ?? I wanna try smoking for my nausea and to help me sleep but im not so sure

Personally I don't think it's worth it. Nicotine transfers to your breastmilk therefore your baby is ingesting it also, along with whatever other chemicals are in the cigarette.

it's not going to do anything to harm your breast milk, but in some cases it can affect your supply

@fallon_fairytale, oh that I don't know. Is there a lactation specialist you can ask? I'm sure they'll tell you you shouldn't even smoke but still they should know if it would affect the milk at all.

My boyfriend still smokes so the smell is already on him.. I don't want to smoke all the time, I didn't even really do that before. Just when I needed one, like now. :( I've quit multiple times before, just because they were gross all of a sudden. They're not addictive to me. My biggest issue is, will it transfer through the breastmilk at all? @hannahbbtt

I would try and find something else to try and relieve your stress. I quit smoking when I found out I was expecting and I deff miss it but I just think I made it this far and the smell I don't want around my baby so that's what keeps me going.
