how does everyone deal with being a single mom and not having that family that you see so many others have?

It's hard. in my case my son is my family and he is all I need, yes I would like for his dad to be there but hey stuff happens and it works for us. We have all of the love we need with each other. and yeah going to a friend's house and always keeping in touch with people is great too. Also you are never alone you have God. he is always with you.

family doesn't have to be blood. during holidays I find a friend house to go to, or just cook my self for my kids and I. you have to be stronger than just a day. that's all a holiday is and in 24 hours it will be over just like the rest of the days

it's definitely hard, but I cry when I need too, wipe my tears and keep it moving. I'm single and have 3 kids 10yr ,2yr, and 1 week old
