two exciting things happened today... first co workers threw me a surprise shower :) loved it had no clue they would do that for me!!
second thing... had to go into L&D because they saw 4 decelerations in Adonijahs' heart rate... was in MFM from 2.30 til 3.40 then went into L&D from 4.20-6.30 bleh... but he is fine... they saw my contractions vary some go for 4 minutes apart to none for 15 minutes to braxton hicks... so I'm to take it easy and drink loads of waters... (which I have yet to get up and get) luckily I'm off tomorrow... (btws he is ok)
Oh bonus surprise... I am not eligible for FMLA so now we have to figure out what the heck I can do while on leave to stay active in the system... 😧
none the less today had loads going on 😌 happy to be home though with my bunny even if I can't have her out to chase her around (I was told strictly to rest)
Oh okay @dabcw3814 yeah I quit my very good job because I couldn't leave my son last time
I will be eligible for SD. It's only 6 weeks after the baby is born. Max benefit is 26 weeks with medical documentation. I can't even fathom going back to work when my baby is 6 weeks. @b3autifulm3ss I'm not eligible bc you have to work there for 12 months. I found I was pregnant 2 months after I was hired. I may be able to use vacation time and personal as well. I have to see... It's stressing me
Fmla and disability are two different things... in CA you are eligible to collect short term disability at 36 weeks (with a healthy pregnancy) and for 6-8 weeks after baby but idk if this is the same in every state
@b3autifulm3ss, I'm short like some 240 hours to hit the eligible mark... so my boss is asking what she can do to keep me in the system my husband said to go to work for a few hours after I have him 2 times in 8 weeks... but having a c section I'd rather not... but we will see..
I'm not eligible either. I haven't even contacts HR yet to see what my options are. I'm nervous 😬
nope I'm not eligible for SD either...so I don't know what's going to happen if I get let go I will come back when my son is older than 2 months so we will see.
