I'm really scared and confused at my son's nine month checkup the pediatrician told me no more baby food only table food. Well besides the obvious I don't know what else to feed him and he's just now in stage three baby food but he'd rather have stage two with cereal mixed in it. Is this what normally happens or can I keep my son on baby food and a bit of table food like I was doing before?

@bentleysmom1203, some people ebf for 12 months and then give table food. in my opinion you do what you feel comfortable with. maybe try some Mac n cheese or creamed potatoes or mashed noodles here and there. but I wouldn't make a point to give the baby ONLY table food at 9 months. that just seems extreme for my taste. but that's totally just me. and my daughter didn't get table food at all before 1 and had no issues with eating real food.
food before 1 is just for fun, is the bold saying so I don't understand the rush on table food?. I always put my babies in a high chair and sat them at the table with is. Maybe parts of a baked potato or a mashed noodle with cheese and mashed froot, but never ever did I make them have to eat it.
Does he have any teeth? I started giving my son like fruits, veges, those little dissolvable puffs in the baby section. You could really give him anything you eat as long as its not a choking hazard. I used to just set it in front of my son and he'd eat whatever if he saw me eating it.
@caydensmommy, I know this will sounds like a dumb question but how do I introduce it? I give him fruit and rice cake circles. But with other things he just looks at me like I'm crazy and won't eat it
You can still do baby food, but also introduce table food. My sons doctor told me more table food then baby food because once they get older they might not like the texture of regular food and only want baby food.
@nicemmcha2015, so is it ok that I only give him a little table food but still do 4 times a day baby food? when she told me that I got so worries that I'll turn in to a bad mom because I didn't know what to feed him :(
you don't have to give him table food. my 1st didnt get table food until 12 months.
you can still do that. but try to introduce him to more :) good luck mama

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
