So my LO is almost 6 weeks old and eats 3 oz every 2 hours. Hell be content for 45 min then cry hungry again and try to suck our faces off. I tried 4 oz at feedings but he spits it up. And I tried an oz or 1/2 oz in between feedings and he sometimes spits it all up. I've heard some people with this issue try a tiny bit of rice cereal in the formula. My parents are against trying it cause they said he isn't ready for it. What is everyone's advice/opinion ?!?

I would add just a tiny pinch of cereal. that's what I did with my daughter.
My son's pedi was against rice cereal so I didn't add any. He still spits up but dr said if it's not bothering baby then he's fine and he's gaining weight appropriately. Enfamil makes the formula with added rice cereal too.
Well it seems like he is full and definitely doesn't need more to eat then. Will he take a pacificer? Have you tried feeding less more frequently?
Yeah he's spitting up whole bottles when I feed him more. Hoe long do growth spurts go? He's been doing this about almost 2 weeks now
Sounds like he's going through a growth spurt and just wants to feed more frequently. For spitting up try feeding less at a time more frequently. My son has reflux so I knoe about spitting all too well. Sometimes he'd spit up whole bottles. or maybe try a pacificer in between feedings, since baby's have that need to suck.
Okay, I cant take seeing my baby like this anymore . What saved your life helping a baby with a milk allergy and acid reflux ? He’s on nutramigen and it’s helped with his spit up not being clumpy and rotten but the spit up is still so much and 4-5 times every feeding . I’ve tried 2 medicines . Multiple formulas . He screams the second he stops feeding until he burps and it all comes out . I dont know what else to do for him 😭😭
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
So, does anyone else’s baby spit up a lot ? I feel like he just eats to much/to fast . I switched his formula to the sensitive kind , but he only formula feeds before bed and when we’re out . And we’re not out a lot . But he spits up my breast milk too. I’ll feed him and he’ll scream like he’s still hungry so I’ll feed him more until he seems like he’s not but he ALWAYS spits up. Idk what to do . I’ve tried burping more often , switching my diet , everything .
How many ounces to give my 2.5 month old? He spits up a lot so I usually give 4 ounces stepping up to 5 oz but i don’t know if that’s ok
I never thought giving Jayden solids would be so hard , every time I try to feed him he pushes my hand , spits it out , gets mad etc 😭😅 I tried eggs ,chicken , rice, meatballs .. so far and none of them he liked 🤦🏼♀️
My husband had to be fed rice cereal when he was an infant due to never being satisfied so I'm thinking he might need it
