help! to all the mommas of baby girls: so my almost 6 month old has little red bumps in her genital area but not on her butt is it a diaper rash from heat or what could it be? ive been putting diaper cream and it hasn't gotten better 😢 I'm going to call her dr in the AM but thought i would ask here first for experiences and results.
Sounds like a yeast rash, the only diaper rash cream that worked when this happened to my son was butt paste! I swear by it now, I tried EVERYTHING, finally my mom found the butt paste, put it on and an hour later his rash was almost completely gone.
ahhh man 😭 she doesn't seemed bothered by it but hopefully they give us something so it can go away asap 😟 @polkadotcutie @babygluttony
I got a prescription because it got really bad fast but my pediatrician said if it was just starting you could really use any over the counter medicine to treat it.
really any store like Walmart or Safeway . its for sun burns but you want the all natural 100 percent stuff. @lettyttel
my daughter had a yeast infection. it's nothing you did that caused it. but I got a prescription from her doctor and it became better. I use it for diaper rash too
Try some aloe vera gel my daughters doctor recommended it last time I asked about diaper rashes.
I have been having this problem for a week now and I tried everything and nothing helped. I went to the pediatrician this morning and it's a yeast infection. If there's red bumps and it's kinda scaly and red it's yeast.
i know we as mommas shouldn't google things (there's always scary things on there) but it seems like she might have a yeast infection 😢😭 I'm going to have too see her dr tomorrow for sure 😭 but thank you ladies I have never tried leaving her naked but I'm going to start doing it as well @babygluttony @leahsmommi
I would think diaper rash. I say put corn starch and let her go with no diaper see if it improves. Still call dr in the am tho. Is it bothering baby
Or if you can have her go naked baby completely. give her some air down there. Idk if you can do that but if you do just make sure she is under towels and whatnot to catch anything
it was definitely a yeast infection 😭 they prescribed her a cream so hopefully that works @leahsmommi thank you for asking 💕💖✨
