I don't know how you guys breastfeed for six months I've been doing it for a week and my boobs hurt really really bad :(

@beccaevans, it gets better!!!! slather your nipples in Medela breast ointment all the time- it helps a ton

Cluster feeding is normal. Babies nurse for comfort as well. It's totally normal.

Breastfeeding should not hurt, talk to a lactation consultant to make sure your child is latching on correctly. A proper latch wont make your breasts sore.

Oh k I will talk to them tomorrow. cause it hurts really bad when he first starts and a little when he is doing it.@rari,

Sounds like an improper latch to me. The lactation consultant should really help.

@beccaevans, I tried doing it for 4 days now and I can't handle it. It hurts. I bought a pump to help but my nipples are cracking and started bleeding. It just sucks.
