okay ladies, last night my boyfriend and I had some alone time but he refused to have anything to do with my nipples because my midwife said they can cause contractions. Has anyone had any luck with this? Or is it even true that nipple stimulation can bring on labor?

I've definitely heard the myth that they can. but I believe it to be much more of an old wives tale.

I personally didn't do it so I don't way to say yes or no but maybe your doctor may know?

I've read that it can bring on contractions but they are actually way worse

my boyfriend messes with my nipples whenever he wants to and nothing's happened to me I haven't had any Braxton Hicks contractions or anything because of it and I'm 30 weeks pregnant
