To the dr that made me feel over dramatic and stupid for going to L and D last night when I was having regular contractions and hadn't felt the baby move in idk how long thanks for making me mistrust my instincts even more. But being distracted enough you went on a 30 min rant about where our name came from ( my first was his last) and yelling at me for taking tums at night when heartburn is so bad I feel like I'm gonna puke. Sorry for the rant it just upset me. I'll be seeing about change Drs or hospitals after my little prince is here
My OB said tums were completely fine, even if I take a bunch of them because they're all calcium which is good for the baby
My doctor told me no tums also; not sure why lol. Recommended something else that started with the letter "m."
He said tums are fine just that I was taking too many but yet he didn't prescribe or tell me to take anything else
every doctor is different and knows different things. he may know something your doctor doesn't. 2 heads are always better than one. minus him being an ass, majority of my ob docs I work for say not to take tums.
You really don't want kidney stones and he is right that Tums can cause kidney stones. I took two Tums and within 24 hours I passed a kidney stone..
