my labor started at 6am when I felt a little gush of fluid didn't think anything of it since it didn't happen again so I went to work and I would feel a little dribble here and there but thought it was just extra discharge so I worked a full 10 hour shift and when the liquid started turning pink I was like I should probably go get this checked out so I went to the hospital after work and they told me my water had broken so they started me in pitocin to make contractions stronger and i was only in excruciating pain for an hour til I got the epidural and then I slept through the rest of my labor woke up around 3 from pressure but i was so tired I was like I'm going back to bed but then I thought I should get it checked out and so the nurse checked me I was at a 10 and they said her head was almost out they made the comment that we should leave the catheter in til the doctor got there because they thought that was the only thing holding her in so the Dr came and i only pushed for 12 minutes and my daughter was born at 3:38am I didn't tear at all i was extremely lucky #laborday
