Check your child's straps! Do the fucking pinch test! Make sure the fucking chest clip is at armpit level! Do not fucking use anything that does not come with the seat! This is your child's life you are fucking risking by not properly installing them into their car seat. Car seat safety IS NOT a fuckibg parenting decision! It IS a RESPOSIBLITY! One of the most stupid excuses I hear is "my baby doesn't like to be strapped down it makes her mad and she cries" OKAY SO TF WHAT! You are going to do a ton of shit that your child doesn't like and that will piss them off..... vaccines, holding your hand, Dr. appt, bath, bedtime, sharing, medicine, picking up... come tf on... just properly install them in their fucking seat please. Oh your a good driver? what about that person texting who swerves into your lane a hits you head on? what about that sheet of black ice? what about that drunk driver who blows through that red light? just stfu there is no excuse to not properly install your child. point blank period.

my daughter HATES her car seat she will arch her back and scream. (she is one) but I still make sure she is in properly once she stops arching her back
its rare if sophia throws a fit..but mainly if we are on the road longer than she likes but she likes going places.....toddlers....I tell her every time we buckle you up its to keep you safe and mommy happy that your safe and lets go bye bye....lol every time we go anywhere she practically tries to get into her car seat.....I dont have to fight her to get her strapped in....lol
@desiree918_2017, my 6 month old catches an attitude once I tighten the straps like they should be cause she wants to be able to sit up anytime she wants 😂 sorry child that isnt an option lol
I couldn't agree more....my daughter's seat is safe and shes so used to it she rarely throws a fit.....shes one and a half years old......

Remember that coats are not okay in car seats! They jeopardize your child's safety by not allowing straps to be adjusted properly!

PSA to all the OG mom life users. Car seat safety is LIFE AND DEATH for your child. We are trying to inform, not offend. If I was doing something that made my daughter unsafe I would 100% take advice to correct myself. When I was new to baby bump I knew nothing about car seats and these ladies taught me so much. AMEN! I have a friend who lost her 2 kids because their dumbass dad didn't proper buckle them in! Going to the funeral of a 2yr old and a 5 year old will sure make you think twice. It's an image I will never get out of my head!
