I'm due in just over nine weeks time and me and the babies father have split up after been together 5 year I don't no what to do I still love him but he is been right funny with me it's stressing me out so much he hasn't even asked me once how me and baby are
@sophielou, try not to take it out on the baby, or speak to your midwife about how you are feeling, as it could cause you to get post natal depression & that's not fair on either of you! I'm going to be a single mum, I decided to put my baby first and not get stressed out so asked 'the dad' for a break, not heard from him since and that was way back in February so just proves to me he isn't bothered!
hope ur ok.. i can always meet u for a chat and u can meet baby Hettie then :)
my partner was an arse and a real arse at that. long story. message me anytime xx @sophielou
Its not the babies fault hun, ive been in this place and u have to carry on for the baby, she didnt ask for any of this to happen just like u didnt the problem is him, so he needs to sort himself out and like @beckie88 said focus on u and getting ready for baby to come along, in time things change and a baby can rock the most stable and rock hard relationships but its how u work together to get through it or not, its so easy for men to walk away and leave us standing pregnant i sometimes wish i was a man to actually understand what goes on in there minds xx
babies are there for life! unfortunately men are not always a guarantee , maybe he just needs space sometimes things can get to much and they just need a break think of all the good things meet up with supportive friends and family
