This is tmi but i need help...
i want to breastfeed! but... i have "flat" nipples? they only "come out" when im cold or you know.. haha this is very embarrasing for me to even ask on here but will i even be able to breastfeed?
I have the same problem and I just rubbed them they popped out and I ebf from my breasts with one bottle a day and I pump.
I have the same problem @teenmommy53124 I use the nipple shield for every feeding.
I would also try to see a lactation consultant. I'm sure they know how to deal with it
I've also seen like a little suction tube thing that helps pull them out. Not sure where I saw it.
the hospital might have those shields and also my son makes my nipple form the way he wants I'm guessing it's an instinct for most babies to do this with so it might be something you guys have to work on or come natural. good luck mama, you can do it @teenmommy53124
Yes you can! They have nipple guard and once the baby latches it sucks your nipple into the guard to make it out more if that makes sense. My cousin had flat/inverted nipples and uses a nipple guard (: I use one just because it gets more of my nipple in his mouth
Mine were the same way until I started breastfeeding. Had to use a nipple shield for about 2 weeks but be careful using one. They are hard to wean from and they can reduce your supply! Now my nips are out all the time because of all the sucking! 🙄
