He's not just being inconsiderate but incredibly irresponsible & stupid. Hardly the behaviour of a supportive partner. If nothing happens tonight he'll gloat like you made a fuss over nothing. However if something was to happen & he can't get to you, he could possibly miss the birth of his child or at least not be there to support you when you most need him. Let's hope he shows more compassion once babies here for your sake @jodieiokie

Last time we spoke about it I didn't agree with him going at all... He told me he wouldn't be staying and wouldn't be drinking but I still wasn't happy and said I didn't want him to go, to which he basically said tough... We ended up falling out and breaking up over it (and other things). Now the date has come around we didn't speak about it, I asked what he planned to do this weekend and he mentioned the wedding. I didn't want to cause an argument so I didn't say anything just asked what time he was leaving... He left at 6am and only about 40 minutes ago when I asked what time he would be planning on coming back he tells me he is staying and tried to make out like I knew (although never argued when I accused him of lying) I now am refusing to speak to him. I've never been so annoyed in my life. Can't believe how inconsiderate her been... He even had the cheek to call me selfish... @caseyx @chellie32 @raych @sara-lou @stacey804 x

My husband wouldn't have gone at all @jodieiokie Too late now but did you 2 not discuss this before hand? My husband talked about visiting his family (who live 3hrs away) when I was around 37/38 weeks. I said no way, from 37 weeks neither him nor I would travel incase things happened. Almost like a birth plan really haha.

wow! I'd castrate my husband if he did this when I was already over my due date!!! we have a rule that he doesn't drink from 36 weeks or go to far. I'd text him and tell him you think your in labour 😉xx
