No I don't think so. I got rid of some of my acne scars that were years old. Or at least they faded to the point that they weren't super noticeable. 👍🏼

@levismom, does it matter how long the scare has been there? because it's probably going on almost a month.

@hayhayes1, just rub it on the scar. Maderma (sp?) is specifically for scars too and I've had good luck with it for my acne scars.
