Anyone have any tips on how to get baby to sleep in the bassinet/crib? My little guy is 4 days old and screams every time we try to put him down. Don't want him to get used to co sleeping but it seems to be the only way any of us get sleep.

Baby will sleep in our arms or in the swing, or in the bouncy hair that vibrates. Putting him in the bassinet has been a complete disaster. but the last two days for some reason when we put him in it, he stays asleep! He's sleeping in it right now and has been since his last feeding at around 6! Maybe he just needed to get used to it. My little one only sleeps in her mamaroo...even when she's passed out we try to out her in bassinet but she wakes up and screams. I don't want her to get used to mamaroo but the only way we can get some sleep....even though if it's a light sleep.
I put my son in his bassinet, rocker or swing to sleep during naps in the daytime so that at night he is accustomed to that. I do cosleep with him but I plan on adjusting him to his crib at around 4-6 months maybe a little sooner, who knows. I'm told to just tough it out the first few nights to a week because those are hard trying to get baby adjusted. I don't know about brand new babies and getting them adjusted but I guess you have to tough it out with them too. just be sure they're fed, fresh diaper and burped because they may be fussy out of a need for something!! I also take the shirt off that I wore that day and put that over my son like an extra blanket so he has something that smells like me and it comforts him
I'm following for answers as well. My little girl will be 3 weeks tomorrow and still won't sleep in the halo bassinet we got ☹️
My son is one year old and i want him to go back and get use to sleeping in the crib I put him in the crib and all he does is cry and I spoke to his doctor and his doctor said let him cry like in 2 or 3 days he should get use to sleeping on his own has anyone try it ?
Does anyone have any advice or been in this situation before? Long story short is I have to push my almost 3 year old in a stroller to get him to nap or sleep EVERYDAY. He doesn’t need the motion just the restraint because if not he’ll just get up and go. He never stops, he’s autistic and at this point I’m not sure what else to do. I’ve tried a weighted blanket and it helps him stay asleep but not get to sleep. Any suggestions would be amazing🙏🏼

Took my kiddo to the doctor and his doctor recommended I get him Melatonin
So I did
I started with 1mg and it did nothing
So I got him 3mg still nothing
Got him 5mg nothing
So today I bought him 10mg
I hope it works
This kid can go the whole night without sleeping and no naps throughout the day
