How accurate has your ultrasound weights been to actual birth weight?

Both my babies were born weighing 7'2 and 7'4 and both stayed in newborn for a little bit ... The 3 months were so big .. My friend had her baby 8 weeks ago they told her the baby would be about 10lbs she came out 7lbs

We had an ultrasound at 39 weeks 3 days and she was 8lbs 14oz she came on her due date at 9lbs even. It was only 4 days after that so mine was really accurate

@meboom01, I know. I have a bunch of clothes. I had a daughter for my first. I just like some of these clothes and want to use them for longer. So I'm just going to return my favorites for bigger sizes.

This was 5 years ago, but still lol

They told my mom she would be having a 6lb baby, and he came out weighing almost 11lb 😂😂

I'd take newborn and 0-3 months clothes with you to the hospital. Babies do lose some weight while they're there too

my daughter still wears a few newborn and they fit loose on her depending on the way its made so i would try one of the newborn outfits before you remove any tags just to see since every baby is different

Mine was pretty accurate. We knew she'd be close to 8 pounds if not 8 pounds. And she came out 8 pounds 7 ounces. She was 12oz at 20 weeks. And then at 33 weeks she was 4 lbs 12oz. And if it's true they gain around a half of pound a week, that puts her about her birth weight

Hmm. Today they ultrasound me for 7 lbs 4 oz and this baby is bigger than my first. And I'm wondering if these nb clothes my dad got me would be better exchanged for 0-3 months. So I'm trying to see weight for that. I'd love a chubby baby!! @10yearslater0205, @newmommy72816 @meboom01

the tech told me 8lbs 4oz at my ultrasound the day i was induced she came out 8lbs 6oz

Both mine were accurate but I've had some friends recently where they were off like 2 lbs

They told me around 7 pounds at 37 weeks and she came out 6.5 pounds at 39.5 weeks
