did anyone skip cereal and just go straight to stage 1 baby food?

yes the baby cereal constipated my baby so we went to baby food! and that was at about 5 months

First baby was 8 months, second baby was 5 or 6 months

I went straight to real food, started with avocado

My baby hates cereal so only gave it to him a couple times
