First day home from the hospital was today and I started experiencing itchiness like all over, with little extra itchy welts that go away after a while? they looked like bug bites but I'm 99% sure they're not. I tried googling it and postpartum hives came up. Anybody know what this is or experience it first hand? I'm going crazy!

Me! It was the fucking worse, it would start on the top of my feet, behind my arms, my thighs and stomach. Nothing stopped the itch but a cold shower and trying not to scratch- they gave me steroid creme but didn't work but for a few minutes, best Minutes of my life. Eventually every where else but my thighs went away, it only flared when I was stressed, hot or mad. It went away a few weeks ago, thank goodness....anyways I'm sorry you're going through this, it's not fun at all. Also ask your doctor about steroid pills, I took them with my creme, maybe that's what helped it go away slowly.

Do you take your prenatals??

Do you take your prenatals?? I mean like everyday? I'll be the first to admit.. I take them like once every blue moon. I'm trying to get better at it though. I forget easily, plus I don't like being constipated!

Birth Plan Rant I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?
