So I was on the nexplanon for over a year, took the pills for a month then decided to get the depo shot I got my first shot on May 19th so my next one would have been due on the 19th of August. I decided not to get the shot again. My husband and I are wanting another child so I'm not taking anything now. The last couple days I've felt really nauseous, bloated and have cramps and lower back pain. I have not had my period yet. How long does it normally take to get ur period again? Is it normal to have these symptoms when ur body adjusts?

i took the shot for a year and took me a year after the shot to get my periods back normal

My body didn't regulate until a few months after I was supposed to get my second shot

Yes I only had one shot but experienced pregnancy like symptoms when it's time for af. And I bled all the time
